How she takes her Coffee/Tea: Tea is always straight up! Coffee? My Starbucks order is downright embarrassing and anything with less than 5 shots of espresso is just plain sissy!
One Useless Fact About Mandi: Played Flute for 7 years, haven't played in 14 years but still can still remember how to play Mozart's Andantino in C Minor.
Mandi started Sophisticats on January 28, 2016, just 3 hours after Sophie's Casting announcement. Taking a leap of faith she started Sophisticats with the hope of creating a community of Outlander fans built upon integrity and respect for each other, where opinions, though different from others, could be celebrated.
Mandi holds a degree in Mass Communication of Marketing and Graphic Design and a while she was at it, she chose to add an Art History and Theatre minor to make herself crazy. During Summer breaks she dabbled in the acting business and can add "well fed extra" on to her resume thanks to a few local Detroit productions like "Oz: The Great and Powerful", "Prayers for Bobby", and "Detroit 187" She'll forever think that James Franco is a bit odd in that eccentric kind of way and will forget that Sigourney Weaver once said, "You have the most beautiful brown eyes, Sweetheart!" and actually meant it sincerely! She also knows how to change her clothes under a sweater thanks to being Kim MaCafee in Bye Bye Birdie in a community production.
After realizing that compliments and changing under sweaters didn't keep her lights on, she started her own business, "Loverdove Photography, Art, and Graphic Design." She has over 12 years of experience working in Photoshop, and about 8 years working in illustrator. Due to injury, she had to put her photography on hold, but she's eager to get back to being the woman with the Hot Rod Red Canon camera specializing in female glamour photography. You may visit her website, MandiTucker.com for details and releases for art and shirt designs seen all over the Outlander conventions circuits!
